first off good luck to becoming a singer lol. me personally i am actually going out to become on. i used to be 170 pounds heavier a few months back but i lost it all just to prove to my manager that i can do it, even though loosing weight is not all that it is, it kind of is. if you are young you cant come out looking large girls and fellas its not supposed to be like that. they are looking for the next.. the next jojo the next beyonce the next bow wow etc. so work on the body image because truthfully from looking in th eindustry its all about your looks and your fans . if your fans dont like you they wont like your music.... here are tips ive used .....

1. start writing lol so simple if you dont write the labels might think you have no creativity there for less album sales there fore down the drain.

2. get your butt in the studio.. get studio time if you have a tape recorder record your voice accapella send it out to friends and family's and radio stations(not to play on air) send it out to record labels call them first and introduce yourself and ask them if they can listen to your tape then send it in.

3. start now eat healthy. please stay in shape dont startve yourself just follow by example because if you do your fans will follow you remember your a start now.

4. treat your self like a star, if you got tha ttalent, and you know our gonna be an entertainer treat yourself like it then .

research on the internet too for anymore info dont come on forums asking to make you an r&b singer thats why your getting no response from anyone. lol no one is gonna see you in here you have to go out and get it

5. after you have done recording your demo send it to your local radio station . go there yourself with photos and look the part go to new york go go go go go to www.skyelab.com they will help you also.

6. send your demos out that's the best way to do it.
7. enter contest, call radio stations, if your old enough go to talk shows. and answer questions like 106&park, jenny jones, jerry springer it doesn't mater and always have an agent on the look out when you perform at clubs ask the club manager if there are any agents that come in and when they wil be coming at the most.

this is just like getting a job YOU CANT APPLY IN A FORUM YOU HAV ETO APPLY IN PERSON RIGHT? SO GET OUT THERE AND DO IT MAN
